Membership card names

We currently use a custom process to get the names that members want to print on their member cards, and it broke when we put v16 on our test system. We are working with Tessitura Support to determine if the customization is fixable, but I also wanted to check in with this community about best practices for obtaining member names and printing them on cards. 

Our current process: 

  • Member names for cards are stored on a custom Multi Members screen on the constituent record
  • The number of cards (either 1 or 2) for each membership level is stored in a system table
  • Onsite sales staff can go to the Multi Members screen to manually add names when a membership is created
  • The TNEW membership page has a custom form that triggers the creation of a CSI that in turn triggers a local stored procedure to add the names to the Multi Members screen
  • The lower two membership levels get one member card with one person's name on it; the higher two membership levels get two member cards with one person's name on each card
  • Acknowledgement letter templates for printing member letters include the cards formatted at the bottom

How is your organization getting names for member cards? Is it a process built from the standard Tessitura set-up? Thanks!
