Physical Gift (e.g. poster) for Renewing Members

Hi all, 

We're looking at incentivising Membership renewals by offering a gift of an exclusive poster to Members when they renew. We want them to collect their poster from the Box Office when they're in the theatre, so it saves money and also adds a personal connection to the process (the Box Office team can thank them for their continued support, ask them about shows they've enjoyed etc). 

We want to be able to monitor the takeup of this and also ensure it can't be abused by someone showing an email etc multiple times to get a few posters. 

The way we're considering this is for a daily report of the previous day's renewals to be sent to our team; we then add a ticket for a dummy show to their account which will show as an e-ticket like a normal show would. They can then scan the ticket when they arrive and it will show on their account as used, plus won't be able to be scanned a second time. 

One thing we're up against though is that our tickets are only able to be scanned on that day's performance. How do we go about this? Set open-ended dates for the doors on that show? Or a report that can move the dummy show along one day each time? We don't want to set up a show for each day, as we want Members to be able to come anytime rather than having to dictate. 

Does anyone already do this? Or does anyone have any thoughts? I hope I've explained this all clearly enough!
