Membership Reporting

Hi Everyone!

I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to report on year over year renewal rates and year over year membership counts by level? We are struggling to see, for example, how many active memberships we have in January of this year compared to January of last year. I am also going to post this in the analytics/reporting forums.

Thanks!!

  • Hi Samantha, I report out membership metrics to leaders in my organization on a monthly basis, so I pull up those counts when I want to compare YOY numbers. (The reports I send out and the YOY comparisons are pulled from contemporary Tessitura data but are not themselves in Tessitura.)

There are some other metrics that I've set up in Analytics that I sometimes like to compare in finer detail, so I set Analytics to email me a daily PDF of a specific dashboard, then I save the PDFs to get an "on this date" snapshot for any particular day of the year. This helpful when I want to compare my spring and fall direct mail lapsed acquisition campaigns - if one goes out April 23 and one on October 2, and I want to know how many memberships were sold in the first four weeks for each, it helps to pull up the saved dashboards from two particular dates, not just my month-end reports.
