We currently use paper member cards and print them weekly. We would like to switch to plastic member cards and hope to implement this by 2023. Can anyone recommend the type of equipment that will be necessary to print these as well as any other important information that would be helpful to make this change? We print about 500 cards a week.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Over the past year or so, I’ve become aware of all of the little places I put plastic into the environment, and the impacts that the accumulation of these plastics has on our environment. Personally, I’ve started to look for little ways to reduce the number of places where I cause plastics to be created and used. The simplest example is I try to avoid plastic drink cups and straws. I’d like to invite you to consider if moving to a more robust recyclable card stock might be an option that meets your robustness and design needs, while in a very small way reduce our planetary plastics pollution challenges. Just a thought. Here is some information about the down stream impacts of our use of plastic. And what one organization is doing to try to clean up.

I've not worked with any of these, however there do seem to be some alternatives to plastic cards.
