Member Welcome Email Automation in MailChimp

Hello!

We are hoping to implement automations to run out of MailChimp to welcome new members to the museum. In our initial automation set up we wanted the trigger to be a CSV upload of the constituents in question. Our MailChimp environment is integrated with Tessitura but we find the API to be unreliable and would rather manage the constituents independent of the API. Has anyone been successful in this process?

    I'm right there in the same boat with you, Elizabeth! We are working toward the same goal, right now. 
    I'm sure you've done this already, but make sure to read the Tessitura documentation around this utility. Not surprisingly, it’s pretty comprehensive. It's in the Fundraising Setup and Administration section. Something that I don't remember coming across in the documentation, but did in the forums and personal communications, is that you have to turn off your Windows Authentication. If it's on, the utility will fail.

    HI Elizabeth,

    Would love to hear more about your experience with Mailchimp integrated into Tessitura. We are considering making the switch as our current system (Campaign Monitor) is not currently integrated and it is PAIN.
