Sort code and bank account checker

Hi All,

I've recently started working with Tessitura at 'We the Curious' in Bristol (England). I've noticed when using it that the system I am using doesn't have a option to allow the user to check to confirm the bank sort code and account are correct when setting up a direct debit.

Can I ask does anyone know of any apps that can be used to counter this for Tessitura?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi Robert

We validate accounts using Bottomline. We have a custom screen on the constituent record into which we enter sort code and account number. Once validated, a Direct Debit record is automatically created using those details to avoid any typing errors.

The screen uses part of our TNEW Direct Debit customisation, but I’d hope Tessitura would be able to set it up as a standalone if needed. Obviously you’d need a Bottomline account…

Hello

We are just about to start a project to move from our current supplier to for verification from Bottomline including the custom screen Alison describes and we are not a TNEW user so it should be possible!
