We are considering adding a monthly subscription model to our membership program. The member would be automatically billed monthly for their membership. We sell memberships as products NOT as contributions/gifts so cannot use pledge billing as far as I know. Is anyone else who sells memberships as products doing a monthly model and if so, how?

We do not, but I recently attended a webinar where MCA Denver shared a monthly subscription membership option - https://mcadenver.org/join-and-support/membership - that is tailored along the Netflix/Streaming models. You commit to six months and then you need to contact them to "unsubscribe" - it is a very low cost option with limited benefits. It is an entry point for a younger audience. The traditional levels are still annual however.
