Broadway Sacramento is offering a couple of its usual summer F2F donor benefits online.
Normally when attending a show, donors have the opportunity to join us before the show and during intermission in the Donor Courtyard for a cold beverage and a place to lounge and visit. We also have Behind-the-Scenes donor events where we have actors or other production staff join us for lunch and an interview/q&a, plus watching a rehearsal. This summer we're offering Online Donor Courtyards, Zoom meeting style. Our CEO joins us and gives an overview of how things are going with the show plans, theater construction, etc. The donors get to chit chat, tell stories, ask questions and get updated. We're offering two Behind-the-Scenes online, Zoom webinar style. This is led by our COO/Producing Artistic Director. The audience doesn't participate actively in this, except they can submit questions to ask the guests. There's no lunch or rehearsal but both of these style events have been well received so far, and with the alumnus actor we had as a guest - a million laughs - they were so much fun.
All of our other donor benefits have been rolled over to '21.
