I'm setting up a dynamic list for triggered "thank you" membership emails. I can't see the right criteria for segmentation of "new" and "renewed". If you use triggered emails for this, I would love to see your list criteria! Thanks!
We're just starting on doing this as well for new memberships. We're using RNN status as in "Membership RNN Status is NE"

That's what I am attempting as well; however, when I use this parameter it pulls in renewals as well because the NE exists in their history. Is this the only parameter that you are using?
