Direct Debit for Membership as Product

Hello Forum,

I manage the membership program at Sydney Living Museums, and we are currently in the midst of implementing Tessitura, and should be live in October 2019. Exciting!

I want to be able to offer Direct Debit on memberships, however, we have been advised to set up our 'set-price memberships' (not donation levels) as ‘products’, but in doing this, I am concerned that the Membership Auto Renewal utility or the usual manner that Direct Debits work in Tessitura, won’t work in this case.

In short, I’m new to Tessitura and want to know if anyone has any idea if Direct Debit functionality can be set-up for memberships that have been created as ‘products’.
