Has someone else had this issue -- and - did you find a solution?
One of our donors created a new account online and made a donation. I processed the gift, then a bit later merged the new record into the household.
The new gift is not showing up grouped in with the rest of the gifts. it is in a separate window at the bottom of the contributions screen.
I wanted to back out the gift, place it on account, then ask the person with the permissions to move the money to the household account, reprocess the gift so that it shows up on household record.
When I try to process the adjustment in bath, the program will not allow me to choose the individual - it automatically chooses head of household (window pops up stating this fact).
In the household record, that particular gift is not available for adjustment.
Happy Monday,
Angela
You should be able to move the contribution to the household without an adjustment. If you're in the individual's account, go to the Constituents dropdown in the toolbar, and under Household Operations, there's an option to Move Transactions to Household. There is a window or two to click through, but that should do it.
We hey that worked - thank you!!
I wonder why that didn't happen when I did the merge - I'll have to make sure that none of my other merges went this way.
You might have your administrator check the MOVE_TRANS_TO_HH_ON_MERGE in the T_DEFAULTS table. If it is set to "Yes" those contributions will automatically go to the household.
I'll take a look - I am sure they are set up this way as this is the first issue I have had with this, and can find no others.
Thank you! Looks like when we went to V15 several weeks ago we went from Yes to no for some reason. Anyway THANK YOU it's fixed
