Creating a list of Members whose Memberships have expired

Hello All,

Shakespeare's Globe went live on Tessitura 6 weeks ago and we've had some problems creating lists to use for renewal reminder letter and emails. At the moment we're still finding occasions where small numbers of people who have renewed their Memberships are being pulled into these lists and consequently being sent unnecessary renewal letters, meaning lots of headaches for us and not the best experience for our Members!

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this and perhaps suggest some list criteria/operators we could use to achieve this? Ie. What criteria would we use to pull a list of all members whose memberships who's memberships expire on the 30th June 2018, excluding anyone who uses a contribution type of Direct Debit billing?

We'd also be open to doing this with Extractions if this has worked well for people in the past?

We'd be so grateful for any advice of suggestions!

    Here is a thought – why not use your Test system to run Membership renewal report AND then compare it to the results of the list/extraction that should have matched.  This could help pinpoint better the records that are not being excluded.  I know you said you were already identifying them but this could help.
     
    It might be a simple as you are not excluding records with Pending status. But it you see 15 or them you’ll know for certain. 
     
    I’m hoping the new feature of v.14 showing why a record met the criteria will help too.
