We are in the planning stages of our membership implementation. Whilst crate the Membership Organisations and Levels are fairly straightforward I was wondering how we go about adding levels to our current donors. Is their a utility for this or is it purely manual?

Unfortunately, I don't believe there are any "vanilla" Utilities that can automatically add levels to your current donors.
It could possibly be done via a custom procedure or utility though; how many years of membership are you needing to add membership records to and about how many members are you looking at?

We're just looking at 2 years at the moment so that we can manage our current and lapsed donors. We're talking about 700 constituents which is a little arduous to do manually. I might look into writing some SQL to clear the bulk of it.
