I was wondering if anyone has found a way to get the membership recognition amount to auto-update whenever an additional gift is made towards that active membership? It currently only populates with the first give at the time the membership is created and due to the number of members we have, it's time prohibitive to ask our gift entry staff to manually update this field with every gift. I'd LOVE to hear if anyone has any solutions/suggestions other than manually updating. At the moment the only thought I have is created a back end nightly procedure but that sounds like a lot of work and I want to make sure i'm not missing something else before I look into going that direction.

Our gift entry team just manually updates the membership once they've added a second gift to the already-donated-to campaign. I agree, that automation, when another donation is made on the same contribution campaign, would be really helpful.
