Memberships as Products

Greetings from The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. We are a brand new user of Tessitura (we went live on 5/17) and have discovered some issues post-Go-Live. I'm interested to learn from other Tessitura users on the below topics: 1. Memberships as Products - are there other Tessitura users that have their memberships setup this way? If so, how has it worked? 2. Institutions that discount their memberships: How is your membership program setup - as a contribution or a product? We were told the only way we could offer a discount on a membership is by selling them as products - however that has created its own problems we are now finding. It seems strange we are the only Tessitura user that offers a one-time discount (as a sales tool) for memberships. Are there others out there? 3. Login issues for members: we have a lot of members who get stuck in a loop of trying to reset their password, and not being able to actually log in to the system. This has impacted our revenue in month 1 since Go Live. (Now that our members have to log in to renew their membership via our e-renewals). How have other users solved this issue? Thank you for any feedback you can provide. Sincerely, Erica Terry Sr. Development Director, Membership The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
