New Members-Visitation Reporting

Does anyone use out of the box reporting or TSTATS to get an idea of how often new members are visiting? If so, could you let me know how you find this info? I'm trying to get a percentage of new members in a certain time period who have visited the museum 1, 2 or no times.

Thanks,

  • Hi Laura,

I'm not sure on what basis you define a "new member" but maybe you can create a list in List Manager" that you can then use as a filter in T-Stats?

  • Laura,

Depending on what you're after there are a couple of ways to accomplish this in T-Stats. If you just want to know how many new members attended 1,2 or zero times during their membership, you can do this in the Memberships cube using the Num Perfs During Memb attribute. It automatically calculates the number of performances the constituent has during the dates of the membership in question. To limit to just new members, you can use the NRR status, and also filter on either initiation or expiration date to make sure it's new folks in the time period you're interested in.

If you want to know what performances/seasons they went to, then it might be beneficial to create a list of the members in question first, then use that list as a filter on a report in the Tickets cube.

Alternately, if you want to see new members, but the time period in which you want to review their attendance is not the same as the duration of the membership, then likewise, you'd be best off creating a list in list manager of people with the desired tickets during the timeframe you're after, then using the list as a filter in the Memberships cube, on a report similar to the first one I described, where instead of using Num Perfs During Memb, you're using the list filter instead.

    Hope that helps.

Num Perfs During Membership is giving me dollar amounts instead of numbers. I don’t think I’m doing this right.
