Membership Levels

Hello

I wonder if anyone can help, I'm writing in from the Donmar Warehouse in London.

I want to find out exactly how many members we have as of right now across all our membership levels (we have 7).

How do I go about getting this information? Each time we try various reports, we get different results, so not sure if we need to just use a list or if there is a specific report we can use?

Any help, ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Harminder

  • Sorry just read that you were using the reports and getting different results.   What you need to keep in mind when running reports is including only Active memberships in the parameters.   For instance in the Membership Totals by Type.   The Exp Date should include only the active membership expiration dates.  (Report Help that explains each parameter might assist too).

You want to set your parameters so they include only active memberships.

The reason levels and totals can vary has a lot to do with Current and Pending memberships.   So a member may have Level A with exp date 30 Nov 2016 but has upgraded to Level B with exp date 30 Nov 2017.  The latter has status of Pending.

A simple extract looking for each level at the Current Level and does not have status of Pending  might be the way to get count.

There are several reports you might find helpful in the Reports/Membership folder   -- Membership totals and and types might be where to start.

    Hi Leslie,

That's great, thanks for that, very helpful.

Yes we noticed the difference between active and lapse after you pointed out and actually it will help with our financial reconciliation.

    Thanks again
