Memberships - Recommend a Friend

Hi All,

We are looking at offering a 'Recommend a Friend' as a membership perk for our current members. We would like to make this available online, but would like where possible to capture the data of the original member essentially as a benefactor for the new member - does anyone have any experience of this or any suggestions?

Thanks,

R

  • This can be captured both as CSI and/or Relationship record.

  • Thanks Leslie,

Are you capturing this data by recommendations online? If you are doing this, would you mind sharing some info with us?

    Thanks,

  • My current organization is not doing this but this was done at the Met Opera a few years back.

Creating CSI from website is fairly common – check the documentation and talk to you IT folks.

The Relationship records were done manually since the volume was not great enough for programming – a CSI report was run to know who to code.

  • Ryan,

Pop this one on the helpdesk with full details of what you want and I'll add it to my dev plan next week. There are a few ways we can capture the data, most of which we already have set up in a technical sense.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
