Has anyone had success in selling gift memberships through TNEW? Our system is currently set up so that patrons can buy a membership for themselves online, but if they want to give a gift membership, they need to download a form, fill it out, and mail it to us. We'd love for them to be able to complete the process online.

This is something we thought about, and then didn't move forward with it. It seems there would be some usability issues, so I'd be interested too if anyone else has done this.

When we used TNEW, SFMOMA did sell gift memberships. We posted the sale to the individual creating the record but created a CSI to allow the transfer (usually done 24-48 hour post transaction by our data management staff). Let me know if you want to reach out to anyone on our team to find out how that was structured but the Tess team did help us set it up initially.
