Dynamic URL's using Data Fields in WordFly

I'm wondering if anyone has tried adding a Wordfly Dynamic Field into a URL so that each patron would receive a unique link taking them to a survey I'm creating through survey monkey. The dynamic field would act as means to specify which survey each patron receives.

    I haven't done exactly what you're looking for, but we create dynamic URLs in Wordfly for our triggered pre/postshow email campaigns. A table is created nightly in Tessitura that holds the dynamic part of the URL. Our HTML template (hard coded) in Wordfly contains the first part of the URL (which is static). The only catch I remember is that you can't have a completely dynamic URL for some reason in Wordfly - the template requires a static domain - you can only point somewhere dynamically after that.

    For instance, we have a field that populates a YouTube video link that is different for each performance. The Wordfly template has http://youtube.com/watch?<<dynamicfield>> and the field from Tessitura has something like v=rnpQZ_gGY68. Creating URLs that work within Wordfly was complicated and a little weird, but they do work. I've got a mini-magic for TLCC2013 that talks about our triggered emails. I'd be happy to send you more details if you interested.

    Not sure how survey monkey handles unique links, Matthew, but it would be an interesting idea if you can pass the customer number. Good luck!
