Sources Created By WordFly

We are looking at cleaning up our Tessiture sources to better gather data during the point of sale. As of right now every time we send out an email it creates a generic source code of "Weekly Email" or "Faculty Staff Email" and the only way to tell which event this email is referring to is by checking the creation date of the email against what was sent out that day. This leads to the wrong source code being selected at the time of sale, which in turn leads to faulty data.

So my question is how do we change the source codes that are crated in WordFly so they are 1. more descriptive 2. have a termination date so they don't remain as options long after the events they promoted are finished.

Thank you,

  • Hi there,

I make sure to name the email list what I want my source name to be called. So for a concert reminder email, I'll name the email list "EMAIL DSO Concert X Reminder" and manually update the source's start and end dates in Tessitura's campaigns ---> appeals section.

I have a master spreadsheet of all email campaign names, source numbers, source names, dates, etc. to reference back separate from Tessitura.

Let me know if that helps or if you have any other questions.
