WordFly Box Office Insight with Tessitura Custom Screens

Has anyone implemented WordFly's new box office insight/custom screens feature? If so, has your experience been positive? Why or why not?

  • When there's been cause to use it, our box office managers have found it very helpful. We send performance reminders that more or less serve as a 'last chance to exchange' message—the staff has used the screen as a tool to work with patrons who miss the window and make the argument that 'we never told them.' They pull up the record and can read back to the patron when they opened the message. It's not actually different information than they have access to within the Contacts/Promotions area, but it feels more accessible because it's nicer to look at. In the case of the performance reminder, it's also a bit of a better way of looking at it because it will show the merged data for the customer and the performance. There are still some kinks in how it works with the triggered campaigns (or, put a different way, with campaigns that someone could get multiple times with different merged data), but it's a nice addition.

They just have a password on file and I set them up with a WordFly account with no noted permissions, which lets them log in via Tessitura and the custom screens but does not have any actual access to anything that could change a setting or campaign in WordFly.

    Hi Elissa,

We have installed this but I'm not sure how useful it is yet.

One issue is that the login is not integrated with the Tessitura login and the browser in Tessitura does not remember the password so you have to login separately to the wordfly custom screen after you login to Tessitura.

Therefore our box office guys don't use it much.

    cheers,

    Dara
