We are working on updating our Media field (found in extractions as well as sources). Previously there was some internal confusion about the definition of this field and such had general and specific Media types (e.g., Newspaper and San Francisco Chronicle were both listed). So we decided to go general, but wanted some ideas on some media categories other organizations use. Radio, TV, and such are easy, but specifically wondering about "Social Media," Newspaper Ads vs. Articles, and Print such as Brochures, Letter, and Large Mailing. Thanks!
Our media options have been tidied up recently and we have tried to streamline things. We now have the following options in line with the media types we currently use. We don’t distinguish between a newspaper advert or editorial here (the source name is now more descriptive to include that kind of information):

Options such as Generic are used for Ticket Office Operations source codes we set up.
This works for us as it is now much more literal, but I suppose it depends what you intend to use the information in this field for.
