Call for Presenters - Segmentation and Social Media Sessions

Hi All - We are working on a few discussions for the 2012 San Diego Conference.  These are two discussion sessions, so we need one subject matter expert to moderate, and another to serve as the session "GURU"

If you think you could one of these people for either of these sessions, please email me at jbuzzell@strathmore.org.

The sessions are:

Social Media Best Practices

Social media is changing and expanding every day.  We can enter our customers’ worlds from so many directions, but can we go too far?  In this discussion, we will share success and not-so-successful stories about our use of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, blogs, websites, email and other social tools.  We’ll discuss what works, what doesn’t, and what crosses the line - all in an effort to better understand how we evolve with the ever-changing social media landscape.

Segmentation Strategies

Segmentation is a hot topic! Everyone wants to know who's using segmentation and how, but no one feels they are doing it enough. Why is that? Can segmentation really be simple if it gets the desired results? This discussion will get everyone talking about segmentation, from the simple to the complex. What are YOU doing to reduce the cost and time of marketing efforts? What were your segmentation barriers and how did you overcome them?
