Sales by Time of Day

Network,

Could anyone suggest how to determine sales by the day of the week and time of day? This would be very helpful to us in scheduling part-time staff as well as determining when to schedule updates, etc. Right now we go off anecdotal information and instincts, but it would be great to actually look at the hard numbers. We also have T-Stats if there is a way to use it. Thanks!

Cheers,

Chad

  • Hi Chad,

There is a shared report called Hourly Sales Report on TASK (solution # 251) that you would probably find useful.
    Here is a description:

This report totals all tickets sold, the number of transcations and income, broken
    down each hour by user.
A performance date range is required (to only include sales for performances between
    the specified dates)
A sales date range is required (to only include sales which occurred between the
    specified dates)
Seasons are optional (to only include sales for perfs in the selected seasons, if
this is left blank, all seasons are included)
There are options to include comps and include partial payments.
