We are doing some much needed address clean up work and documentation for our users. I noticed in the Tessitura documentation that no primary address can be marked as inactive. However, I noticed some accounts in our database where this is the case (I suspect it might have been done from a back end update). There is one address on this account and it is both marked as primary and inactive. I would like to be able to do this from the front end so that users can inactivate the only address on the account if it is known to be bad. Is this possible? is there a security setting somewhere to allow for this? Thanks,
Kristina Murti
It is not possible to inactivate a primary address from within the application. You are correct that the records you found must have been altered through the back end to get around that rule.

What do you recommend we do when the only email address we have on a record is now invalid. It seems that we are forced to keep it on the record as primary and valid. It does not reflect the real-world scenario.
