After our first year in Tessitura, we are now exploring new ways to use it. I am wondering if anyone can share what percentage of their sales are a result of the on-line capability with use of a promo code. We have in the past used telemarketers and are now looking to compare the pros and cons of each. thanks.

I don't have an exact percentage but I can definitely saw that many of our online campaigns (Facebook, Eblasts, Online Ads) have been more successful in generating sales when attached to a promo code. I would say that we use online promo codes in a completely different way then we use telemarketing so I'm not sure exactly how they compare but promo codes are an excellent way to encourage online sales.
Just make sure they are working right:)
