TMS-WordFly update?

Anyone know anything about the launch of WordFly, the new version of TMS?  I understood beta testing was to take place in the spring with a summer launch but have not heard anything more.  I know there will be a WordFly session/presentation at the Tess conference, but that doesn't help anyone beforehand and who's not attending.

Any info would be helpful.

    Rumor is that they are beta testing now and looking at a release by conference time at the latest. But that's totally rumor. I'm not responsible for any stampeding this might cause. *grin*

    I just went to www.wordfly.com and subscribed to their email list to be notified when it's up and running.  The auto-reply I received back said "coming this fall."

    On the Wordfly migration page it also says:

    "In the fall, you will have the opportunity to create a beta account on WordFly if you have upgraded to Tessitura 8.0. This will allow you try out the new system without interrupting the important emails you will need to send to your patrons."

    I asked Kirk from POP this very question recently, and here is his reply (don't know if it's UK-specific, but it doesn't sound like it):

    "Yes, WordFly is really coming!  Currently, we are planning to begin migrating current TMS client in late summer (think July - Sept).  We're giving ourselves a little window here because there are so many clients and we need to make sure everyone gets a little TLC when they switch over.  But you can anticipate moving over sometime this summer.

     

    "More news on that very soon..."
