Promoting membership during web sales?

I am wondering if anyone of you has a method of promoting membership while a patron purchases a ticket online. What I am looking for is for when a non member purchases a ticket and checks out, that there would be a promotional blurb or a tag alerting them "If you were a member you could be saving..." type of  tag line. Is this possible? Any one has any suggestions?

  • Montra, with all the cool websites out there I am embarrassed to point you over to ours, but we do exactly what you are looking for. Our ticketing sites are very similar as CM created both. Check out http://tickets.thetech.org/production.asp  Then add something to your cart and a box will show up telling you that if you join as a member you could save money. Then if you purchase a membership, it switches the items in your cart to the member MOS with the new member prices. At the time this was real tricky for CM to do, but I heard that version 8.0 API has a call that allows you to change mos and keep all your items in the cart.So that should make it much easier.

    Hope this helps,
