Advance Sales Graph - by Calendar?

So we want to create an advance sales graph for several concerts of the same series on the same chart.

What is available in Tessitura is an Advance Sales Graph report that gives a relative date (one day, one month from concert), what I am looking to create is a graph that charts the sales according to the date the sales were made on.  BUT I also want it to accumulate towards 100% like it does on the Advance Sales Graph report.

I figured in T-Stats to pull the concert sales based on % of orders, but does anyone know how to create a chart in T-Stats or Excel that will accumulate the values to 100% of sales?

I figured someone else using Tessitura must have run into this issue.  Thanks!

  • This is useful, thanks!

But... is there a way to do the same thing in t-stats using '% of orders' as a measure?  I've noticed that if I select multiple concerts, the percentage of total orders breaks down among the different concerts, when I actually want the percentage of orders to equal 100% for each individual show.  If I ask T-stats to show the individual concerts, one at a time, and try to make an excel spreadsheet out of all of the combined info, the dates won't match up.

  • The next T-Stats release will have percentages that respect any filters that you have in place, but currently (and unfortunately), the % measures only report on percentage within the cube you're reporting in as a whole.

If in the exported Excel document, in addition to creating a cumulative formula, you might create a % of whole formula and chart that instead of the ***.

You might also use the Days Prior to Performance attribute instead of the Order Date so that the time prior to performance does line up from concert to concert.
