I would like to lower the bar to allow people to sign-up for our mailing list. But I can't figure that out. I can create a signup page on wordfly, but how do those emails get into Tess and become future extractions that will receive emails from me? What we do today is to send people to our create-an-account page on our website. Which is a lot for most people with a curiosity.
thanks!
Trish
We have that and I have to periodically check the list from the Wordfly signup page and then manually add in the new people into Tessitura. I do it weekly, and it's generally not a ton of new sign ups so it's not a huge lift for me to do, but I'm sure someone has figured out a way to automate the process a little more? Sadly though the Wordfly sign up page doesn't have any direct integration with Tessitura.
Many times I've wondered if the "lightbox" from WordFly could feed into TNEW short Rego
Ooooh is this on the ideas board?! if not it definitely should be!
We use Create account brief in TNEW for people to sign up for our E-Club.
We are WordFly, but we use a Donate2 form for our sign ups that creates accounts directly in Tessitura. Also, we are not TNEW.
Hi Trish,
We've had this same problem as we want to be able to create different sign up pages for different contact permissions so that's super quick and easy for people to sign up. We decided against using Wordlfy as we didn't want to have to then import the data into Tess so we've started using Action Links instead (https://www.actionlinks.io/) as they have an out of the box integration with Tessitura. You can create a different link for the different sign ups you want and it will look and see if a constituent already exists before adding a new one. If they do exist, will update their contact permissions/interests based on what's in your form.
Thanks
Hannah
