When and existing patron fills out or changes their preferences in Wordfly, it automatically updates their account. Great!
Has anyone successfully integrated when a NEW patron or email signs up for (subscribes to) your mailing list and provides us with NEW preferences?
At the moment we are hand building NEW accounts for them adding in the matching attributes manually.
WordFly won't serve as a funnel of new record information into Tessitura--it only syncs info (but back and forth) once there are corresponding accounts in both systems.
My assumption is that the edit in WordFly pings Tessitura (send info the whichever system/reference table it is) and then onward to details on the constituent record. Therefore, if the ping happens before there's a connection otherwise, it's a lost data point. At least unless you do something manually to force the old data to process again. NOT anything I've ever had to work through, but this is generally the logic of these things. New WordFly accounts being almost meaningless to Tessitura is one key reason I don't use WordFly sign up options.
Interesting! How do you collect info to add ppl to your marketing lists? only when they purchase?
