What is your process for when you receive a list of contacts that you can ONLY use for a UNIQUE/SPECIFIC purpose and then are instructed to not contact them further? For example, we hosted an event, and received a contact list from someone who asked us to only communicate with that list of constituents for that event, and then to not add them to our general marketing or development communications. If you have experienced this at your organization, I want to hear from you.
We do once-offs like this in Outlook, bypassing import into WordFly or Tessitura. That said, we're in a consortium where leakage and overlap with OK to contact is more fraught.
To confirm, a one-off list for your org does NOT ever touch Tess?
That's right, though in some few cases, where someone just has to know who's already in the system, I might query the list of email addresses against existing accounts. But in a case like you said where the restrictions are that tight, then the one-offers don't get accounts created in Tess or WordFly.
