Tracking Subscription Sales Year over Year

Hello al!

I am attempting to create a line chart that shows the progression of our subscription sales each week over the course of the season. I am attempting to compare six different seasons so we can have an idea of how we are stacking up. I am currently using Order Weeks Since OnSale and things just don't quite look right. For example, this current season is showing up as being in week 62, which is definitely not the case. Past seasons are also running way longer than they should. The total revenues are correct, just the timeframes seem off.

Looking for any advice from my expert colleagues out there!

Best,

Sydney Schless

  • Hi Sydney,

In order to use Order Weeks Since OnSale, all performances within a package would need to have the same onsale date. Per the help, "Fields in this dimension reference the Default Sales Dates Start Date for a performance. As each mode of sale can have a different start date, the Default Sales Start Date field can be used to record a single on-sale date to use for reporting in Tessitura Analytics."

However, you might have more luck with a copy of the Pre-Built Subscription Jump To Dashboard which has a 3 Year Package Sales Comparison by Week (of Fiscal Year) widget and see if that gets you off to a better start.

    Best,
