HiWe are looking at re-vamping our Rush program to broaden our audience and the accessibility of our tickets. Is anyone using a lottery system for their Rush tickets? If so, are you running that yourself (how?) or through a third party? I would also love to hear from anyone in the community who has an exciting/successful Rush program that they would be willing to share details about. TodayTix rush has always been good to us. They have a unique market and social marketing set up, are relatively cheap, are lovely people, integrates directly with Tessitura's Rest API
Hi Jess - we've had a pretty successful Rush program over the years. We offer it on day of the performance at 9am to members and 10am to the general public. It's only available in person or by phone.
We offer a discount off our regular ticket price by zone. For example our top zone has 10% off, second zone 20% off, 3rd zone has 30% off and the remaining zones are 50% off. We set up a special price type at our season build that comes on sale at 8:55am the day of each show.
Like Heath, we've also used TodayTix for a couple of shows that we know we're going to need help with, and while we've had some luck, the closest TodayTix location for us is 2 hours drive from us so that makes it difficult for us to find a lot of sales through TodayTix - but we do love them! :)
