Our venue recently implemented Tessitura as our ticketing platform and had our first on-sale this past week. Our venue typically puts our full season (about 25-50 performances) on sale at one time. With this approach we experienced an incredible amount of traffic that eventually bottle necked with Queue-it. This caused long wait times and frustration from the consumer side. I was hoping to find some advice on handling a high traffic situation or on sale. We eventually made about 3,800 online transactions by COB but in years past had done around 7,500 in the first hour. Do we need to adjust how we put shows on sale to alleviate traffic at one time?
