Hello,
We are planning out our migration from the soon-to-be deprecated general screen to Contact Point Permission and Contact Point Purposes. As we are a Prospect2 client and located in Canada (so a CASL observer), we have a few standard lists such as "special offers", "education & outreach", "fundraising events" that tie to a sign-up form on our website that links to the list in Prospect2. Agents will subscribe/unsubscribe patrons based on Prospect2's custom screen.
As Prospect2 has a one-to-one relationship between CPPs and Lists (if you install their interceptor), we are thinking of having a Contact Permission for each Contact Point Purpose with a reminder of two years. For lists where there is a strong "implied consent" for example current subscribers or donors we are undecided on whether to create a contact permission for that.
Has anyone tried a similar set-up and how did it work out?
Thank you in advance.
