Digital Playbills/programs?

Hi, folks!

I'm curious as to what everyone — specifically regional producing theaters — is using for digital Playbills/programs? We’ve historically used OnStage for all of our printed programs where we get a chunk of ad revenue at the end of the year. We are currently talking to them about their “Audience Access” solution for digital programs, but I'm wondering about how the ad revenue could possibly compare, particularly given that there is a hard cost (versus printed programs where there is not.)

I can't imagine a scenario where we will make as much as we did from print, so maybe there is another, lower-cost way to produce digital program content, potentially even using something we already pay for (like Adobe Spark?) I know that many other orgs don't have the benefit of an in-house designer — me! — so we have a bit of an advantage there in terms of being able to create visual content. OR maybe it's worth it to pay for their app and just not have to worry about it so much and focus on all the other things!

Would be so grateful for any info or ideas from the hive brain.

Cynthia
