Constituent Login

Hello Tessitura Community!

We are looking for documentation that we can send our patrons on how to login into their account to renew their subscription and to look at their account in general. Does anyone have a "How To/FAQ" document they are willing to share with us? Thank you for your help and support. We greatly appreciate it.

  • Some anecdotal advice: the number one thing we did at my previous org to get people comfortable logging in to the account was constantly reminding them of their username. We put it on paper renewal packets, we added it above the button in any email where we asked them to interact with the website, etc. I don't remember the numbers, but we saw a significant increase in successful orders on the website after we started doing that.

  • Maery,

This is great advice. Thank you so much. I looked into pulling information via a list then a custom output set. I was able to pull Login information. The question now is, if they have multiple emails (the primary email and the Login email) under one account and the Login has both emails...what login do we tell our patron to use. I don't know if you ever ran into this?

  • Jason - I have vague memories of us discovering that having multiple logins on an account caused a problem where the patron literally couldn't login (but this was a couple years back on TNEW V6, so that may be different now). We went through a cleanup process of inactivating logins that weren't the most recently used version. I would imagine you could get that Last Used By date out in the same output set to follow a similar process.
