Hi all,
As marketers, we always know to expect a barrage of auto-response emails back when we send out an EDM campaign. A lot of them will be temporary "out-of-office" messages, but some will indicate that an email address is no longer active or being monitored.
For the sake of tidying up the database and reducing bloat, I'm interested to hear how other organisations are treating these cases and the rationales behind them (if at all).Is it a simple case of manually unsubscribing them from all email comms? Do most people clear the auto-replies from the inbox and move on?
