Has anyone figured out a way to adapt the Migrate Permissions utility code to update Contact Permissions in bulk? Or perhaps updated the LP_WF_PREFERENCE_UPDATE_CUSTOMER procedure (WordFly) to update permissions *without* explicitly setting up the permission as its own WF Preference? I'd very much like for the Preferences/2-step unsubscribe page to only include the Interests or Purposes or whatever the organization has chosen, with the idea that if the patron chooses to select Preferences instead of fully unsubscribe, that could be recorded as an "opt-in" without having to include (what amounts to being an unrequired) "click here to opt in" permission preference along with the others.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I've been staring at this for so long I can't get a big view of it any longer and it's just so *clunky* right now compared to how I wanted/expected it to work. Thanks in advance for any help!
