Hi Folks!
I asked this question a while ago on the Admin and IT forum but we didn't get any bites- trying once more on the Marketing side!
Is anyone in the community using Tessitura to manage data for a costume rental facility? We are trying to get organized to import and manage our regular rental clients (both commercial and non-profit) and the variety of designers working between them-- we think this looks like a web of theaters, design houses, schools, and designers which are associated/affiliated, and we are considering using the plans tool to create "rental pipelines" that track the yearly cycles of rentals (i.e. a spring musical tells us when to reach out on a yearly basis).
If you do any work in Tess to manage a costume facility or program, we'd love to chat!
Many thanks,
Michael B, TDF
Hey Michael,
Although my organization is a presenting org and we don't do rentals like this, I found this intriguing. It's possible you could use plans to manage this. My brain though of Resource Scheduling though. I'm wondering if there is a ways you could use that functionality. It was originally intended for Education departments but I could see it being used to manage something costume rentals. I'm sorry I can't be more help.

Chris, I had the same inkling this morning! I'm going to do some research on it. If I make progress in that department I'll be happy to share! Happily, Kelly from the Ogunquit Playhouse has reached out as they do something comparable with their costumes, so I think we're in business to get started!
