Hello friends,
I have been perusing the v15 help system topics to gain some insight into how I can help my Marketing colleagues better gauge interest in certain topics beyond the "opt-in" option of the TNEW Account/Interests. Interests and Attributes have historically been the domain of the Box Office Managers but I have started to want to expand their use. I am particularly interested in weighting interests based on purchase behavior but I have a technical question about historical purchases.
Specifically:
If I created the keywords and attached them to current & past performances (those which are no longer on sale but are part of a constituents purchase history) when the stored procedure ran, would it capture past purchases that have the keyword attached, even if it is no longer on sale, and hasn't been for say 3-5 years, and incrementally increase the weight of that interest for the constituents in the database? Or, is this something which will only capture purchases from point X (all currently on sale performances) forward as it runs?
I hope I make sense with this, but can clarify if someone thinks they know the answer but needs more information.
Many thanks!
Michaela
