Patron Account Migration Plan

Hello, all.

Our team is nearing go-live of Tessitura; first, with subscriptions in April and in July with single tickets and online subscriptions (never done online subs before) and all other events for other users of the performing arts center. July is when we'll also launch our new web site integrated with Tess.

We'll also be passing data on all of our university's faculty, staff and students into Tess. Everyone, whether they have a current account (which could be an online account or not) will need to receive an email or letter about logging in at the upgraded site and updating their account.

My question is, does anyone have a patron account migration plan they would share? We've already started on the communications side but we were just talking through today how patrons subscribing from April-June will experience a few changes. We're asking today for final approval to close the ticket office windows/phones all of June to finalize 5 billion things for their own operations as well as to help with the web. We'll still accept orders via mail for processing.

Our subscriber base is small and loyal so they will bear with us but we obviously want to cover all the functional steps and communicate well.

I know someone out here has done this well, probably multiple times, and even if not done well we'd like to learn from that experience, too.
