WordFly vs. Prospect2

Greetings,

Has anyone done the following -

1. Used WordFly and switched to Prospect2?

2. Used Prospect2 and switched to WordFly?

My organization is planning to switch to one of these email platforms and we would love some insight of why you like using WordFly or Prospect2.

  • Hello folks,

Just hoping to reactivate discussion on this. We received an email from L2 this morning advising the retirement of m2, encouraging us to make the move to P2 - which we're considering. I have a few questions for those of you on WordFly and would appreciate your insight!

    1. Event RSVPs - do they update Activities in Tessitura?
    2. Surveys - does the data get transferred back into the Impresario database?
    3. Surveys - is there an "easy" link between a survey respondent being signed up to a publicly available eDM list?
    4. Surveys/publicly available eDM lists - is there a function to have a respondent created as a constituent record in Tessitura?
    5. Performance reminders - I appreciate that there is a move from a custom database view to an Output Set - how has this worked for you?

If you have made the move from m2 to P2, I'd love to know how you deal with the above.

If it is more appropriate, please (PLEASE!) feel free to email me directly martin.keen@nida.edu.au with your experience. Many TIA!

    Martin

  • Happy to talk to you about WordFly. We currently aren't using pages but I have done a lot of work on triggered emails like performance reminders and can speak to that. You can email me at GabrielaJirasek@goodmantheatre.org.

Just jumping in on this as well. Here at the Australian Chamber Orchestra we also set up Triggered pre-show reminders in Wordfly that send out 2 days prior to the performance and has dynamic tags based on what venue and performance time pulling from a custom output set. Am happy to share this set up with you if you are interested. You can email me on Emma.Fisk@aco.com.au.
