Reporting on non-fixed packages

Does anyone have any advice on how to extract data from Tessitura on non-fixed season packages? I’m trying to create a report of all our 2018 season subscribers (which includes several types of flex passes) that includes package code, number of seats, and total package revenue per constituent. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Have you tried t-stats?

  • I know I can use T-Stats to generate the total number of various types of packages and revenue per package, but I don't know how to break that information down within T-Stats to a per-constituent level. Is that possible??

With t-stats you can show the total number of packages and $ but also how many "number of constituents" (households) that is using that measurement.  You can also drill down by package type or package code to get further info.  If you're looking more for number of seats and number of constituent households you can create a report in the tickets cube using the Subscription price type category and then break down the numbers by price type or production or anything really.

Sorry - that posted before I was done.  If you're trying to create a report with each contituent's individual data, t-stats won't show that - but we do have a report called our customer data export utility that exports all patron data including the subscription data.  I may be able to ask our dba to share.

  • Thanks, Traci! This is a useful workaround. My end goal is to be able to show (for example) that patron 123456 bought package code 18WED with a quantity of 8 total seats for $XXX, but for the meantime this will at least get us a ballpark on larger purchasing trends.

  • If you can, that would be wonderful! And if not, thank you anyways for your advice 😊

  • I’d love to see that report, if I may.

Also, do you have the latest version with the new list manager?  If so, the output options are great.  If you create a list with just your flex buyers you can create an output set  with their package information (the key is to add a filter for Season so it only shows the season you want).  You have to play around with the elements to get the result you want but I think that could work for you as well.

The output for it is quite large.  Here's screenshots of the parameters:

And here's a quick screenshot of some of the subscription output - we seat our full subs in dummy houses before reseating so it won't show pricing or seat info like it would for our flex subs or for someone who doesn't seat this way.  If someone has multiple packages in breaks those out in Package 2, 3, etc. up to 5.  Same for single ticket and donation history.

  • Wow, that report is great! No, sadly, we aren't on the new version with all the list output options. Soon, I hope. My colleague may have found a SQL solution, though. Adding SQL to my list of things to learn!
