Accounts v Tickets number

Hi

When you create a list in list manager, the answer is as constituent records. This is if you are asking how many people purchased a ticket to show A.

Is there any way that you can then take those consituent record numbers and easily show how many tickets each record has purchased.

Currently i find i assume that if there are 7 records people have purchased 2 tickets each.

I would like to know how to find out how many tickets per record, by not having to open up each constituent record and look in ticket history.

If you have a look at the performance by appeal report it shows 7 records = 21 tickets. that works at 3 per purchase. Which seems odd for each purchase to be like that.

Do i need to built an output set builder? Any help would be greatly appreciate.

And vice versa if we have a report that shows 21 tickets sold - how many constituents purchased tickets?

An Output Set could be the go, but before you do that, how about trying to run the list (with the new source code criteria) against the Performance Seating Book for that performance? It doesn’t give you the number of seats per account, but  at the bottom you do get a nifty total that says how many constituents, how many orders and how many seats. You may find that one of your customers has seats in 2 orders for the performance, which could be another reason why the list has 7 customer, but you have 8 orders.

Also by using this report you have the ability to double click on the order number which opens the order so you can view it, and double clicking on the constituent id will open the constituent window. So could be quite useful?

    Cheers

    Sandra

  • Hi Sandra

Thanks for the help. However, i dont have a criteria in list manager called Performance Seating book. Do we have to create this ourselves. Or is Tickets-Number of seats the same?

Or should i not be doing this in list manager and as a report instead?

Re 2 seats in in 2 orders for one person, is that because they could of purchased a full adult ticket and a concession, hence two orders, one account and the difference between 7 and 8.

Hi Amanda.. I figured I would jump in and answer here..  Performance Seating book is a report in the ticketing box office reports folder.  I think Sandra was saying to run both a list and the Performance Seating book and compare the numbers!
