Appeal v Appeal Report

Just a thought, the Appeal may not have updated at one stage when a sale was made, so get your IT people to run the following in SQL Management Studio -

exec AP_UPDATE_APPEAL @appeal_no=## (where ## is the number of your Appeal)

and see if that modifies the number of Successful accounts in the Promotion area of the Appeal for that source.

You may be interested in this. Another way you can see who are the successful accounts and the response date within the Appeal (and this is going to be hard to explain) is when you have the Appeal open, double-click on the promotion to open the Source Code Recipients window. You have to ‘aim’ the magnifying glass onto an area that has enough space – I usually double click in the space between the Source No and the Source Type field. When the Source Code Recipients window opens, click once on the Response Dt column heading to sort it and all the recipients will be grouped together and you’ll be able to see when they responded as well. From this window you can also double click on the account and it will open up the constituent window.

Under campaigns/appeals and then specific appeal. I have a result of 7 successful purchases to source code 2129 for Peace Train. Date range 22/01/2010 to 31/01/2010

However, when i run the Performance by appeal/source report for that show, the same date range, i get a result in the report of 8 records. (source 2129)

Can someone please advise why there would be a difference of 1. The date range for both are the same.
