Managing under 25s!

We have a discounted ticket offer scheme for Under 25 year olds, and when they buy the tickets a membership is set up in Enta (used by our box office) which we plan to then import into Tessitura to manage the memberships.

We already have this process in place for our £35 Friends, but as this is not really the same sort of membership group I was interested to know if anyone has developed any other ways of managing U25s or similar (especially in the light of the A Night Less Ordinary' scheme).

Thanks, Katie

  • Hi Katie,

We run a 16 - 25 £5 ticket scheme in addition to the Arts Council's 'A Night Less Ordinary'.  Currently people don't need a membership to access the tickets - we set web booking and phone bookings to 'hold at box office' with an explanation that ID is required on pick up from one hour before the performance.

We collect date of birth through a birthdate attribute in Tessitura and also use price type tracking to measure success of the schemes.

We are looking into setting up a 16 - 25 membership so will let you know how we plan to administer it.

    Thanks
