When we've sent triggered emails in Wordfly before, we've never used the "send once an hour" option -- before now. Our Development team wants their triggered "Welcome!" emails to send out closer to the time of the transaction, so they want to use the "send once an hour" option in Wordfly.
However, since relative dates in list-builder only get down to the day level, I don't know how to pull this dynamic list so that it only pulls people who purchased a membership in the last hour.
Normally, it would not be an issue to have people pulled into the list all day, because on the Wordfly side you can specify for it to only send the email to each person once when they first qualify. However, we've found that it creates promotions for the whole list, even if it doesn't send the email. So we have everyone who purchases a membership getting a promotion for the Welcome Email once an hour for 24 hours. They only receive the email once, but those promotions are creating a ton of noise in their accounts.
Anyone have any ideas for how to fix this on the list-building side?
Write now we have the dynamic list set up as follows:
With wordfly you will be promoting all the customers to a single appeal.
In your list if you add
Promotion Appeal Does Not Have (member welcome wordfly appeal)
That should remove anyone who has already received a welcome email from Wordfly
